So I guess that whole "try updating every few days" thing didn't quite work out, as it's been over a month since I last typed in this little box, but I suppose it is all justified by my incredibly laziness. Yes, that works. Anyway, lots of stuff happening in the past few months. Lets see: the summer volunteer thing finished up and I am currently back at home in Ft.Lauderdale. Overall, the program was pretty cool, I got to see a side of Sarasota that I didn't really know existed. Plus, I learned some skills and made a little bit of money. Still, I am glad that it is over. Never really got a break after school ended, so I am using the next couple of weeks to relax. Not that I am lying back and doing nothing though, I have a lot of take care of while I am here. The biggest thing is I need to get a car. My parents are going to help out quite a bit, but I am still going to aim for the least expensive, most fuel efficient, and reliable car I can find. I am thinking that a Honda Civic fits rather nicely. A little pricey, but I will be able to afford it. Plus, the excellent gas mileage will help to save some funds as well. As for money, I finally found a job - real job. Say hello to the newest Psychological Technician at Coastal Behavioral Healthcare! That's right, I am going to be working with crazy people. And I've already heard all the jokes already, "You sure they are hiring you, or are they just comitting you?" kinda stuff. The pay is not too great, but it has benefits, as well as room for advancement, and it is full time work. The one odd thing about the job is the hours: 11 PM to 7 AM, five nights a week. Looks like I am going to be a vampire. But, I think I can do it. I also got a part time job with the Princeton Review; I am going to be a SAT-instructor. As for the housing issue, I will be living with Matt and Frank (Richard's former roommate) over at the Sarasota Palms. The place is pretty nice, and it is very close to school. And, with the three of us splitting rent, it should be pretty affordable. Well, I have to get back to doing car research, but here's hoping that I will keep updating this thing.

Ugh, graveyard shift. But at least you have something -- I'm still looking. I'm glad you liked your dealie over the summer. Is the Frank you're living with really Richard's former roommate? I know Matt had mentioned it was a possibility, but I didn't know if it had been confirmed or not.
